Your duties as a carer at one of the care homes might include but are not limited to:
- Assisting residents with eating and drinking.
- Supporting residents with social and physical activities.
- Helping residents with personal care including showering and dressing.
- Monitoring residents’ conditions including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Allocating correct type and quantity of medication to residents.
Following government legislation, all staff working in CQC-registered care homes will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses) against coronavirus.
